Canadian Elite Taekwon-do is one of the most recent and fastest growing Independent National Taekwon-do Organizations in Canada. Mr. Demers and Mr. Reid's schools founded this organization in October 2005 with Master Parm Rai as its President. These instructors and their schools have been with the International Taekwon-do Federation under Grand Master Choi Jung Hwa since the beginning of his Presidency.

This organization was formed with the intent to continue to strengthen and promote General Choi Hong Hi's orthodox Taekwon-do, to honor and respect the art he founded. We continue this tradition through his son, Grand Master Choi Jung Hwa and the original International Taekwon-do Federation.

Canadian Elite Taekwon-do is fortunate to be founded, and pride itself with being surrounded by, a great number of dedicated, knowledgeable and inspiring people. It has been our pleasure to have athletes and coaches from organization represent Canada in the past few World Championships, Korea, Australia and the past summer in Birmingham England. We will meet the challenge of hosting the 2010 World Championship in Ottawa, our National Capital, but more than that we look forward to welcoming all of our fellow Taekwon-do practitioners.
